It’s incredible to think that Summer is almost over. It’s a major bummer. I actually love the fall but not this year. It was just such an epic summer for me and James and even this weekend, we’re soaking up as much vitamin N (nature) as we can before this city goes into a winter downpour.
I’m sharing this Chlorophyll Lemonade today as an awesome way to gently detox your body after a summer of indulgence. I know I have!
Chlorophyll is the pigments found in plants hence the green colour. The beauty is that it literally has no taste, but it’s incredibly powerful.
Not only is it great in cancer-prevention because of the powerful antioxidants, it helps to promote optimal liver health and therefore the body’s natural elimination of potentially harmful toxins.
If you have any digestive issues, chlorophyll is excellent in helping to support the stomach. It’s also been known to speed up healing and it is considered a natural deoderize.
I personally drink a litre of this every morning, alternating with my Morning & Evening Tonic (for mental exhaustion and restlessness). I also love this drink in the sauna at my yoga studio as it aids in the detoxification process.
